Tom’s Goals for our Fairfax Community
In short, experience matters! It matters because our City must now strike a balance between our present and our future:
To preserve our neighborhoods, our historic identity, and our open space, we must also manage the pressures of growth that come from more citizens and an expanding economic base.
Continue and enhance our outstanding community services, but couple them with our long history of financial soundness.
Maintain our successful local and regional partnerships with our neighbors, such as our school services agreement with Fairfax County, while strengthening relationships with partners such as George Mason University.
